Arriving as one of two new native APS-C format RF lenses is the ultra-compact Canon RF-S 18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM Lens (together with the RF-S 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM ). It delivers a versatile focal width with a 1.6x crop factor for an equivalent focal zoom range of 29-72mm (full-frame format). This is great for a wide variety of subjects including landscapes, travel, portraits, vlogging and video, or simply as a general lens for all-day shooting.

Despite weighing just 130g, Canon has managed to add an image stabilisation mechanism, which gives you 4-stops of anti-shake compensation with the EOS R10, and up to 6.5-stops when mounted on the R7 camera, which has combined body/lens image stabilisation. A fast and silent STM (Stepping Motor) captures subjects quickly, whilst in-camera technology makes sure they stay in focus however fast they’re moving across the frame.
