3 Legged Thing AirHed Vision Video Head Lava Summary
AirHed Vision is a compact, fluid video head with a total of 165˚ of tilt (-75˚ / +90˚) and full 360˚ panning base. This is ideal for creation of video footage on the go.
It has a versatile Arca-Swiss compatible clamp that features an incremental scale on each side for precise positioning. For ultimate usability, the Vision’s clamp can be rotated by 90˚. This allows the head to be used with L-brackets and plates attached along a camera base. The AirHed can also be used with the supplied QR7 long release plate that mounts on the camera from front to back, along the plane of tilt.
The AirHed Vision is formed from lightweight and robust aerospace-grade magnesium alloy, making it truly portable, yet still suitable for camera and lens combinations up to 5 kg / 11 lb. The AirHed Vision can be fitted to any tripod with a standard 3/8”-16 screw mount.
The panning arm is detachable for transportation, and its position can be adjusted using the dedicated wing knob. To assist users with levelling, the head features bubble levels in both the base and clamp.
