Hasselblad XCD 45mm f/4 P Lens Summary
With an equivalent full-frame focal width of 36mm, The Hasselblad XCD 45mm f/4 P is a classic prime lens for medium format X System cameras. The compact, slightly wide standardlens is built for adventure, and weighing only 320 g makes it the world’s lightest digital medium format autofocus lens.
As with all Hasselblad XCD Lenses, the XCD 45P has an integral central shutter, which offers a wide range of shutter speeds and flash synchronisation up to 1/2000s. Despite it’s super compact design, the XCD 45mm f/4 P Lens is capable of delivering impeccable image quality, thanks to two aspherical elements which render edge to edge sharpness even wide open. This enables photographers to bring an exceptionally high quality optic on their adventures, with a lens which is perfect for anything from travel photography to landscapes, city photography and documentary.
Hasselblad has designed an optical formula which incorporates two aspherical elements, resulting in state-of-the art optical performance. With a minimum focus distance of 35cm and a maximum image scale of 1:5.2, the XCD 45P is also well suited to food, still life and fine art photography.
