DJI RS 5 Lower Quick-Release Plate Summary
The DJI RS 5 Lower Quick-Release Plate is an accessory that enables accurate camera positioning and faster setup changes on compatible RS gimbals. It works with the gimbal’s fine-tuning knob on the tilt axis, allowing millimetre-level adjustments when changing cameras or lenses.
A dual-sided scale and serrated slot design on the underside provide consistent positioning during rebalancing, reducing setup time when switching between rigs. The plate also supports quick transitions between tripod and stabiliser without disrupting balance.
Compared with the previous RS Lower Quick-Release Plate, the interface between the lower and upper plates is lowered by 1 mm, improving alignment and balance consistency when mounted on supported gimbals.
