The EOS R6 Mark II is equipped with a proven 24.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor, which is capable of continuous shooting at up to 40fps when using electronic shutter mode. Canon’s powerful Dual Pixel CMOS AF II with subject detection recognises animals, birds, vehicles and people, with tracking maintained across the frame during erratic movement. The camera’s in-body image stabilisation system provides up to 8 stops of compensation when paired with supported RF lenses.

The RF 200-800mm f/6.3-9 IS USM extends reach far beyond everyday telephoto lenses, with a high 4x zoom and further reach thanks to compatibility with RF 1.4x and 2x extender. On a full-frame body such as the R6 Mark II it delivers native coverage up to 800mm, which is perfect for bird photography, safaris, and field sports to name a few. Optical image stabilisation adds up to 5.5 stops of correction, while a Nano USM motor ensures responsive and near-silent focusing.

Despite its extended range, the mirrorless RF lens weighs just over 2kg and includes a rotating tripod collar for balance and support, and also features weather-sealing for continued shooting in any conditions.
