A revolution in video production, the outstanding large-format Canon CN-E18-80mm T4.4 L IS KAS S is a new, compact Cinema EOS lens with cine-servo functionality. It sits below cine-servo lenses and above EF lenses and brings high-end quality cine-servo features like super-smooth servo zoom and focus at an affordable price point. Its ergonomic design supports handheld shooting and makes it ideal for shooting documentaries, interviews, weddings, indie movies, and corporate videos.

When used with Canon EF mount EOS DSLRs and Canon Cinema EOS camera s, it offers peripheral illumination correction for reduced lens vignetting - maintaining evenness of illumination from corner to corner, even when shooting wide open.

Dual Pixel CMOS AF delivers fast, smooth, and consistent autofocus, so it effortlessly tracks moving subjects and achieves more natural focus pulls and transitions. One-shot autofocus lets you quickly focus on the main subject at the centre of the screen with the touch of one button, and continuous autofocus keeps the subject in the middle of the screen automatically in focus.

Its Push Auto Iris compensates backlit or difficult lighting situations during manual shooting, so automatically adjusts the aperture for an optimal exposure.
