The Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor is a versatile 5-inch HDR touchscreen video monitor with full camera control, which can be mounted virtually anywhere. It provides an additional monitoring and camera control option that can be mounted when rigging or other accessories block the Blackmagic PYXIS’ internal display.
The bright 1500 nit high brightness screen makes monitoring easy, even in bright sunlight, and it includes a removable sunshade that folds up to protect the screen when not in use. The PYXIS Monitor from Blackmagic Design is also very easy to set up with a single USB-C cable connection for video, power and camera control, even when it’s mounted remotely.
It features a really nice machined metal design, which is perfectly rugged for professional use, and complements the PYXIS and URSA camera bodies perfectly.

Touchscreen Monitoring with Full Camera Control
The monitor from BlackMagic Design provides the same controls and overlays as PYXIS’ built in LCD, so it’s perfect to use when rigging or accessories block the internal display. Multiple mounting points make it easy to attach on any camera rig and use as a large viewfinder for easier focusing and framing. Or use it as an assist station so crew can frame and monitor shots from any position on set. There are 3 customisable buttons for quick access to zebra, focus assist, false colour and more. Plus, the bright 1500 nit display and removable sunshade ensure visibility, even in sunlight.
You can also buy the monitor bundled in two kits, with additional mount options in the Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor Kit and additional rods to utilise the screen as an EVF in the Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor EVF Kit.
